Happy St Patrick's Day

I decided to have a house cleaning day yesterday (yes it bores me to hell but needs must).  My day however was brightened by a knock on the front door, I opened it to find a dread-locked guy wearing a charity tabard type vest and a clip board. He asked me if I gave to charity....hahaha - I considered going all diva and giving him my blog address but in the end I just smiled and said "yes I do, would you like to see my charity tea cup collection", well the poor fella looked like I has just tried to lure him to his doom , "err ok thanks for your time" and ran off down the path. He he - if ever in doubt act crazy!  Made me smile for the day.

Would like to wish everyone a Happy St Patrick's Day

I will be celebrating with the Irish Half of my family :o)

    Lol, will have to remember that one. Yes, do come and see my collection of pressed glass and second hand frocks...

    Happy St Pats to you - if you come to my playgroup we will bw making shamrocks out of paper plates. At least that's the plan, haven't cut them out yet!

    ha thats fab!!.. i always say that to people that i must give so much money away to charity on a yearly basis.. i help the old ones, hospices and cats.. honestly we should be knighted for our kindness!!!

    I think i'm going to do the same thing if ever someone asked that on my door hehehehe...I really hate spring cleaning too but it needs to be done urghhh...I'm going to take a walk in a gloomy weather and visit my local charity shop, just abit bored at home right now all alone hehe..who knows I'll get lucky and find some treasures! x

    The last collector who came to my home asked if I was over 18 (yes I must look that young), I lied and said no and he believed it so promptly moved along to the next door! xx
