Back from the dead!

Hello all! Have you missed me? ;o)

Sorry I've been away from blogland for a little bit, been blooming crazy in "real" life the last few weeks. I seriously want to kick natures butt for the "viral gastroenteritis" bug, its not only got my son twice but also me!  There is only so much puke I can deal with and I'm sure I've had my share now for 2012.  So enough of the grim stuff, how are you all doing? I'll be making my way around all your blogs to catch up over the weekend :o)

I've really got to get back into the swing of things with taking pictures of my thrifty adventures so for now I'll just leave you with this which gave me a belly laugh in a vintage shop in Brighton:

Honest gov i didn't lay a finger on it! (I'm not convinced however that others have followed the rules...)

Big Love to you all!

  7. Glad you're better hon - there's always outbreaks of this in March, which is why I'm so paranoid round my boys' birthdays. Hate sickness bugs, hate hate hate.

You can't have a typewriter out and not expect people to press the keys - whatever next, don't try on the hats?

  13. So happy you're back, and better.
This made me chuckle because I got told off in Boots today. I used a tester to sneak a bit of pencil concealer onto my eye-bags. The make-up lady gave me a right dressing down. I felt such a naughty girl!
Hope you get some bargains tomorrow lovely.

  16. I thought you'd been quiet lovely, I'm so sorry you and little one have been under the weather - viral gastrointeritis sounds pretty awful!! Let's hope that's illness over and done with for the rest of the year!

I can just imagine an annoyed shop owner popping that sternly worded note into the typewriter :-)

Have missed your posts, welcome back!

  17. Hope you and the little man are feeling way better, being sick is just the pits! The sign is too funny, seems there has been a bit of testing going on. I can imagine that with one press of a letter an old biddy would march on over and give em a good talking too. Glad to have you back, Tam x

  18. teehee! I love an aggressive shop notice! I was going to send you a message yesterday saying "where the hell have you been?" But viral gastroenteritis is hell itself so I understand!

  28. My long-term love affair with typewriters means I probably would have been too tempted by that sign and of course obeyed it in every way xxx
